Director Development Program
The Director Development Program is an immersion learning program designed to provide participants with an understanding of each function within Kaplan’s campus business and an opportunity to make an immediate impact. Program participants report directly to one of Kaplan Higher Education’s Group Vice Presidents while completing 6-8 months of rotations, gaining in-depth experience in the career education industry and Kaplan Higher Education. Once completed, individuals assume a Director role in one of our 70+ campuses across the country.
Each rotation lasts 1-2 months at various schools in a designated geographical territory. You will shadow, observe and serve in various roles to understand the expectations of the function. Campus rotations include: Admissions, Financial Aid, Education, Career Services and Finance.
This assignment will prepare successful participants with the ability to take on a role as a Campus Executive Director.
The Director Development Program will start 3 cohorts in 2010: February, June and September.

Finance
Employees in our finance positions are responsible for gathering and maintaining financial data as it relates to the various accounts receivable and business office results and trends. They will be expected to use a wide range of tools and software with precision and accuracy and presenting this information in a form that is readily understandable by our senior executives. Whether you are interested in accounting, financial planning and analysis or process improvement, there’s a role for you here.
Leadership and Executive Accelerated Development Program (LEAD)
Kaplan's LEAD Program is an 18-month leadership development program for recent MBA graduates. Program participants complete three rotations within core functions of Kaplan's online university business (i.e. Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Information Technology, Student Operations, Academic Operations or Executive Operations). These projects will be highly analytical and results oriented.
LEAD provides the opportunity for high-potential leaders to gain a broad perspective of the functions that are critical to the organization, setting the state for the future success of our operational leaders. At program completion, participants will be qualified for a position at the senior individual contributor level or higher.
The LEAD Program will start in July 2010.
